1975 Moss Bunny (Skidoo Alpine) - runs?

Just picked this up, trying to start it first time. Pulled the plugs first and put a couple of shots of PB blaster down the plug holes, then put the plugs back. Fuel tank looks pretty sludgy, so I used the fuel syringe direct to the carb line. Looks like a return fuel system. Tillotson HRM??? carburetor. Throttle return spring not connected so that's why I'm reaching my arm down the enclosure. Sounds awful quiet.. when it did run. Hmmm. Before any of that I screwed off the fuel filter from the bottom/base of the carburetor and ran some gas through it using the syringe and the blue fuel line - just a couple of teaspoons worth to remove some of the varnish or resins.
