Josette's music box replica from the 1991 Dark Shadows Revival

A fan of the 60s ABC soap Dark Shadows as well as the 1991 NBC revival, I have always loved Josette's music box - as seen in both series. A plastic replica of the box from the 60s soap exists, but there are no replicas of the box as seen in the 1991 series. Already owning the plastic replica I also really wanted one like the box in the 1991 series. Knowing only the original existed and is currently owned by someone else, I did some research on the components used to create the original box, and then created my own. The lid is exactly the same type of lid as used for the box in the show; however, after searching far and wide for a similar base, I have come to the conclusion that an exact copy does not exist. So, I found the next best thing. My base is not the same as the one on fhe show, but is a very good substitute as this box more closely compliments the design of the orignal lid having a very similar floral design.
