Wild Elderberry is a universal story, although inspired by the artist's real-life events and experiences. Her father suffered for years from bipolar disorder, in which periods of mania alternate with depressive states. Edyta Rogowska, when she was still a child, could not come to terms with this situation for a long time. It was only years later that it turned out that it was her father, an unfulfilled musician with big dreams, who had instilled artistic sensitivity in her. The song had already appeared on the artist's debut album Remanence last year as Dziki Bez and quickly proved to be Duxius' most resonant song with fans. The song's premiere started a conversation about mental health that sparked attentiveness to the prevalence of mental illness and disorders in society, which ultimately translated into an opportunity for the artist to forge a closer relationship with her listeners.
