On Saturday 14th of December 2019, the Sydney Electric Train Society (SETS) ran a suburban tour using an Intercity/Interurban 'V set,' visiting a number of locations not normally seen by these trains. At some photo stops, the train stopped short of the platform and photographers were allowed to alight via the drivers door, allowing the train to be photographed as it pulled into the platform. This video shows two such photo-stops, first at Schofields on the Richmond line, then at Rosehill (using the racecourse platform) on the Carlingford line. This was the last visit of a V set to Rosehill (and as far as I know the last train to use the racecourse platform), before the line closed permanently in early January 2020. Note the wooden overhead wiring poles at Rosehill, the last on the Sydney system. This tour ran Flemington-City Circle-Airport Line-East Hills-Leppington-Fairflield-Richmond-Clyde-Rosehill-Central-Waverton-Lavender Bay-Waverton-Central-Flemington.
