「日本画の標本箱」No.6 藤黄を溶く ー京都市立芸術大学との連携企画ー Specimen Boxes of the Nihonga World: No.6 A program in association with Kyoto City University of Arts 当館に新設された「コレクションルーム」には所蔵作品の中から多くの日本画の名品が展示されています。これらの名品をより深く楽しく鑑賞していただくために、日本画の制作過程に潜む面白さや魅力を体感できる動画コンテンツ「日本画の標本箱」を公開します。 動画は、数多くの日本画家を輩出してきた京都市立芸術大学の監修・協力を得て制作されました。伝統と新しい試みが共存する実践的な制作現場の様子が収録されたことで、膠や岩絵具、墨や刷毛といった伝統的な素材や道具と、それらをあつかう画家の手さばきや息づかいが感じられる動画となりました。ぜひご覧ください。 On view in the Collection Room, newly created at the occasion of the renewal opening of the museum, are masterworks of Japanese-style paintings selected from the museum’s collection. To support museum visitors in further appreciating the works, the Learning Program presents this video “Specimen Boxes of the Nihonga World,” where viewers may learn and virtually experience the process and enjoyment of creating Nihonga (or Japanese-style paintings). The video has been produced with supervision by the Kyoto City University of Arts, where numerous Nihonga painters have been trained in its history. Thanks to the university’s cooperation, the video successfully captured activities taking place in the painters’ studio, where tradition and innovative challenges coexist.
