Homeschool High School Help: Foreign Language

To do foreign language or not to. That is that question. Well, this one is totally up up to you and your student. But remember, how valid is the pursuit if there is no outside exposure to make it stick? And yes, I repeat myself a bit...I was very distracted and it's been pretty nutty about here lately. UH....in the video I say "my third daughter" what I meant was "my third child (daughter)".....LOL We've done a few different programs. And we have done Latin. Yes-we have. There are reasons my dearies. But that is another video. LOL Some programs we have used are: Listen and Learn a Language (catchy songs and little book with it-great for littles) Song School Latin (Greek available too) this is for younger kids The Learnables (loved this for the younger kids, I think we got to level 2 or 3) ******************************************************************* "language of choice" in Ten Minutes a Day (good, not too intensive) Power-Glide (bought used and it is good-just long and intensive-best for older students) Latina Christiana (really liked this one and it is not too terribly overwhelming. Good for elementary thru middle school, diff. levels available) ***Tell Me More (def. higher level, intense and it's a great program, but spendy) I reviewed this one many years ago.... Rosetta Stone (not tried but know I can snag some languages from our library)
