In this video, we continue our slow Camino Francés, covering Days 17–19 as we leave Burgos and walk toward Castrojeriz. We begin with a final stop inside the Capilla del Condestable in the Burgos Cathedral before the Camino leads us through Parque del Castillo, offering panoramic views over the city. From there, the trail transitions into peaceful countryside and rolling Meseta landscapes. Along the way, we pass the haunting Monastery of San Antón, a ruined medieval hospital where monks of the Order of Saint Anthony once cared for pilgrims suffering from St. Anthony’s Fire. Today, the Camino passes directly beneath its stone archway, making it one of the most iconic moments on this stretch of the route. We finish in the beautiful village of Castrojeriz, tucked beneath a castle and filled with history, hospitality, and classic Camino charm.
