Today were talking about how to create sugar feed supplement for winter feeding without using a sugar board. This method of the cooking methods to make Recipe: 3 Cups of Water OPTIONAL: 1-3 tablespoons of white vinegar (used to help prevent fungus build up.) OPTIONAL: 4 FL OZ of Honey B Healthy or similar Bee supplement using appropriate amount. (Used as a probiotic to aid in building strength and overall health of honeybees. 12-16 pounds of granulated sugar. Place large stock pot at least 12 to 16 quarts on low heat. Combine all liquids together and thoroughly stir. Slowly add sugar at 1 pound at a time and stir in until thoroughly dissolved. Proceed until all sugar has been fully dissolved. Continually stir so that liquid does not burn. When complete pour out liquid into chosen containers to cool and harden. Consider using silicone to allow easy removal. Try to pour bricks no thicker then ¼ to ½ in thick. Not recommended to use glass. When cool pull hardened bricks out of containers.
