This song is found in Chapter 18 of my book, "Room at the Top of the World." I had a dream one night, and it reminded me of a song I had written in 2007 for the Miranda's End album. I told my producer about how I wanted to use the old song and tweak the lyrics. However, I wanted to change the genre a bit. He suggested a bluesy sound. He picked up my guitar and started playing my chord progression in this different style. I was on board immediately, and we went down that path.
