North Korea tests ‘nuke’ missile ahead of Trump’s S. Korea visit, Kim silent on POTUS talks offer

Ahead of Trump’s South Korea visit Kim Jong Un tested set-to-surface cruise missile on October 28, as per Yonhap news agency. Meanwhile, US President Trump is visiting South Korea on October 29-30 to attend APEC summit. The missile launch came amid North Korea's silence about Trump's offer for talks. The cruise missiles improved for ship based launches, were fired vertically & flew around over 7,800 seconds above yellow to hit target. It was also reported that Kim did not oversee the test firing and even target domestic newspaper houses to not report missile test. Central Military Commission VC Pak Jong-chon called it ‘important’ achievement, said it put country's nuclear forces on a "practical basis." Agency Yomhap citing experts, said missiles are estimated to be one of the Hwasal-type cruise missiles. A Senior analyst of Korea Institute for National Unification told missiles' flight time suggested could traverse about 1,500 kilometers.
