Here is a beautifully restored 45hp Pampa pulling the man sled during the Broxburn one cylinder tractor show in Lethbridge, Alberta. The Pampa's where an Argentinian built high quality licensed copy of the famous German Lanz Bulldog. So close to the original where the Pampa's that almost all parts will interchange between the two. They where manufactured by the Argentinian firm D.I.N.F.I.A. (Dirección Nacional de Fabricaciones e Investigaciones Aeronáuticas). These machines where commissioned by Argentinian head of state Juan Domingo Peron at the request of the large influx of German immigrant farmers into Argentina following the Second World War. Roughly 3700 where built from 1952 to 1955 ceasing production after the Liberating Revolution of 1955 due to their connection with "Peronism". Many where summarily scrapped. They take their names after the large fertile plains of South America, the Pampas.
