Project information: Name: Studio F15 Location: Tangerang, Indonesia Area: 120 m² Year: 2021 Architects: Ferdy Tan / Axial Studio Photographs: Mario Wibowo __________________________________________________________________________________________________ F15 represents the position of the Axial Study in the ensemble. This residence stands on a surface area of ​​187 m2 at the end of a series of community houses. The structure adopts a modern style of tropical inspiration, using elements such as wood, brick and natural stone. The provision of a sloping garden on the façade fulfills the function of providing privacy and delimiting the interior and exterior spaces of the house. The primary focus in the design of the house is to establish a central open space, conceived to accommodate various activities. The functional distribution is divided into three main sections: the guest area, located in the first section and with access close to the main entrance; the work area, located in the second section at the back of the building; and, between both areas, the service space. The arrangement of these two main sections forms an inner courtyard that occupies the center of attention. Said patio is a space appreciated by the residents, used to rest, enjoy the view of the surrounding trees and even for meals. Over time, the patio has expanded to the side of the building, taking advantage of available land that arises due to the building's location in a corner of the residential complex.
