Making Birdhouses and Feeders for Wild Birds

In this video I make several simple homes and feeders for wild birds. Spring is the time when birds begin looking for safe places to build their nests, so it is a perfect moment to help them. I build six wooden birdhouses for small birds and also make two simple feeders. In addition, I prepare a few natural feeders using walnuts fixed on wooden sticks, which birds can easily peck and enjoy. Inside some of the birdhouses I place a little hay, and I also hang special nesting material made from natural fibers like flax. Birds can take these materials and carry them to their nests to make them warmer and more comfortable. At the end of the video I hang all the birdhouses and feeders outside so birds can start using them during the nesting season. This video shows the full process — simple woodworking, natural materials, and a small way to help birds in the wild.
