Y-Knot’s feature a small footprint, providing flexibility when bone surface area is limited. The new PRO handle simplifies deployment by eliminating the need to uncleat sutures. Y-Knot® anchors feature Three-Hundred-Sixty-Degree FormFit™ Fixation, contracting vertically while expanding laterally when deployed for strong purchase, even in softer bone. The Y-Knot® Flex anchor is available in 1.3 millimeter single-loaded and 1.8 millimeter double-loaded configurations and provides significant fixation strength compared to other commonly used labral repair anchors. A slim flexible shaft navigates curves and can be easily delivered through optional percutaneous insertion kits. Y-Knot® Flex is available with #2 Hi-Fi® suture or Hi-Fi® ribbon. Hi-Fi® Ribbon is twice as wide as #2 Hi-Fi® Suture and is designed to provide broader compression for more tendon to bone contact. Y-Knot® Flex is recommended for shoulder instability procedures, as well as PASTA repair, Proximal Biceps repair, LCL repair of the elbow, and lateral ankle instability. The Y-Knot® RC is the first self-punching all-suture anchor. By deploying from 2.8 to 5 millimeters subcortically, it provides stronger fixation than traditional anchors – and 58% greater pullout strength than the JuggerKnot 2.9 millimeter anchor in soft cancellous bone. Y-Knot® RC is available with #2 Hi-Fi® suture, Hi-Fi® ribbon, or Hi-Fi® tape. Peer-reviewed literature shows Hi-Fi® tape to be less abrasive and provide less tendon tear-through compared to FiberTape. Y-Knot® RC is recommended for rotator cuff repair and augmentation, SCR, Remplissage, Proximal biceps repair, Gluteus Medius repair, and Achilles procedures. For mini-open procedures, Y-Knot® RC is available with Needles. For small joint procedures, CONMED’s TruShot® with Y-Knot® is an all-in-one fixation system.
