Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah Orientation Program 1446 H.

Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah conducted its third annual five-day orientation program for the parents of newly admitted students across all four campuses in Shawwal al-Mukarram 1446 H. Hailing from all corners of the world, more than 1,030 parents and their children participated in this event. The main theme for this year’s five-day orientation program was: “Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah provides a secure environment where each talib al-ilm develops strengths to make meaningful contributions to society.” The program aimed to introduce parents to Aljamea's philosophy of education, internal operations, facilities, teaching methods, and campus living. It especially highlighted Aljamea’s emphasis on character development and moral refinement, which are fundamental pillars of education at Aljamea. Alongside informational sessions on Aljamea’s operations and their children’s future experiences, the orientation program also included opportunities for self-growth and learning. Dedicated lectures were conducted to explain an epistle authored by His Holiness Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin which deals exclusively and extensively with aspects of Aljamea’s educational philosophy, curriculum, history, and architecture. Parents were given informative tours explaining the campuses’ design and the historical sources of inspiration. They also visited various facilities, including student residences, sports facilities, classrooms, libraries, computer labs, dining halls and campus kitchens to better understand and appreciate the environment that nurtures their child’s growth. Parents also had the opportunity to visit their child’s room, interact with their roommates and help them settle in. A crucial aspect of the program was the chance for parents to meet with the faculty responsible for their child’s academic and personal development. These interactions provided valuable insights into the comprehensive support system Aljamea strives to provide and set the foundation for a strong partnership between parents, students, and the institution.
