Ingredients: 4 slices of bread ½ cup sugar 1½ cups water ½ litre full cream milk 1 tbsp vanilla custard powder (or milk powder) 4 green cardamoms (crushed) ½ cup condensed milk (or sugar to taste) 1 tbsp rose water or kewra essence Ghee for frying Method: 1. Cut bread slices into desired shapes and set aside. 2. Prepare sugar syrup by boiling sugar and water for 4–5 minutes. Set aside. 3. Boil milk with custard powder, crushed cardamom, condensed milk, and rose water until slightly thick. 4. Fry bread slices in ghee until golden brown. 5. Dip fried bread in sugar syrup and arrange in a serving dish. 6. Pour the thickened milk over the bread. 7.
