Hunslet Engine Company Works No 469, built 1888 0-6-0ST No 15 Hastings Originally named 'Liverpool' the locomotive was built for Manchester Ship Canal contractors, T A Walker, before being sold to Price, Wills & Reeves when the locomotive was renamed 'Hastings'. The loco worked at Immingham Docks, Park Gate Iron & Steel Company in Rotherham and Sproxton Quarry in Leicestershire. The steam locomotive was was bought for preservation by the Kent & East Sussex Locomotive Trust, arriving at Tenterden in January 1964. After initial steamings in 1965, the loco did not steam again at the K&ESR. The loco moved to Mangapps Farm Railway for restoration in 2002, following purchase by Mike Hart in 2017 the loco moved onto the Elsecar Heritage Railway in 2018, with the boiler under restoration at the North Norfolk Railway. The locomotives restoration was completed at the Statfold Barn Railway, were it first steamed during May 2021.
