The Honda Civic Hybrid is based on the 11th generation model, & aside from the Type-R, it is the only Civic variant we get in the UK. This model has been in the UK since 2022, meaning it is due for a facelift (as we've seen in other regions) it is however still a sought-after model as we don't see a massive amount of self-charging hybrid hatchbacks. With Honda's 2.0L e:HEV self-charging hybrid powertrain, the Civic is not only smooth but also very responsive, producing 181BHP with all models getting from 0-62 in 7.8-8.1 seconds. A lot of the time the Civic drives like an EV and its eCVT transmission is very well done, rarely feeling or sounding strained. I'm looking forwards to see the UK specification when the facelift model comes out, the current vehicle is very impressive, especially how it drives. Competition is increasing, even from budget brands such as MG with their smaller but more powerful MG3 Hybrid+.
