The piano was frowned upon when it entered the scene around the year 1700. The elite and gatekeepers of the harpsichord went bat-shit crazy. Even J.S.Bach ridiculed it. It lacked soul, had no dynamics and now music was dead. This way of thinking has plagued the history of new music innovations. The electric guitar, the synthesizer, drum machines, MIDI, sampling, digital recording, DAWs and now AI. The elite thinking "Music must be done the way it always has been made" will always fight against what they can't understand. It's human nature. From the fight new artists will emerge who finds new ways of using AI as a creative tool and they'll walk up new roads. Yet, the elite will still say "But this time they've gone too far!".
