(5 Aug 1998) T/I: 10:21:37 Bosnian Croats on Tuesday (04/08) began exhuming 19 bodies of Croats killed in 1993 during fighting between the Bosnian Croat and Muslim armies. Bosnian Croats are convinced that the bodies, in Bugujno, central Bosnia, were buried without orders, and therefore represent evidence of a massacre. Bosnian Muslims claim the bodies were properly identified before burial with their graves clearly marked, therefore these graves cannot be classified as "mass graves". The bodies have been taken to Prozor for identification. The Croat commission is conducting the exhumation of 19 single graves of the people who were killed during the fighting between the HVO and the ABIH in 1993. All these bodies were properly buried in single graves by our Civil Defence.
