Unfortunately, the original horn does not work. I still have the component, but does not work at this time. The speaker-style horn is from an Edwards 882 horn only. I will try to see what I can do to fix the old horn. I will also place the speaker horn to the horn-only grille at some point to show what the 882 is like. As to this old horn-strobe version, this is kinda close to what those really old Simplex devices are like. The strobe component has a variable speed dial, which can speed up and reduce flash rate. To have some fun when testing, I have the strobe on the fastest rate. Approximately but not accurately, 3 flashes a second. This is a cool device overall. The only con about this is installing the device. I had to isassemble it to install, and had to be very careful wiring and installing the device as the strobe cover had to be removed.
