London Crane Tree Removal

Follow along as we undertake the removal of two large London Plane trees located in the centre of Camden. With no garden access, the only option was to dismantle the trees by utilising a mobile crane. With the size of the trees and the distance from the road, we required a 450t crane, with full road closures, parking suspension, pedestrian management and site security. This project presented some big challenges, with the trees causing structural damage to a neighbouring property, 250 objections to the removal of the trees, and very limited space to work around the trees and process the waste. The project was a complete success, with City Lifting providing the crane, Aztech Group providing the heavy kit, Arbortec providing the PPE for the staff, Visual Climber and Visual Media Cambridge on the filming and editing.
