Stoke Newington Station is located on the London Overground suburban lines out of London Liverpool Street towards: Cheshunt, Chingford and Enfield Town. Before the network was part of the London Overground network it was managed and operated to by Greater Anglia who operated most other services throughout the East End of London and into Essex. Typically trains operate at a frequency of every 15 minutes here at Stoke Newington, however trains do run at a frequency of 7 minutes in each direction in the busiest part of the network (London Liverpool Street- Hackney Downs) where after Hackney Downs the line splits and services either head towards Chingford or Edmonton Green, services run at a frequency of every 15 minutes from this point. Services are now all operated by new state of the art Class 710's which replaced BREL Class 315 and Class 317 traction, which had been used since the early 80's to operate these services.
