We Found Ancient SEQUOIAS In The DESERT! [Mustang’s First Ride Out]

In this video, we take our wild mustang, Rooster, on his very first ride into the mountains alongside our team of seasoned mules, Clyde and Reata. This was a huge milestone in Rooster’s journey. Just a couple months ago he was an untouched mustang that we adopted from the Bureau of Land Management and now he's hitting the trails with confidence. As we navigated rugged terrain and climbed deeper into the backcountry, Rooster surprised us with his sure footedness and ability to handle the situations we encountered. But the real highlight came when we came upon a stunning, ancient forest of petrified sequoia stumps. Massive trees preserved in stone, tucked away in a remote canyon. The landscape felt frozen in time, and riding through it on horseback was like stepping into a forgotten world. It's hard to believe this desert landscape looked so much different 5 million years ago. Changed forever by Volcanic activity, we can only imagine what it looked like then. Come along as we explore history, take our mustang on a new adventure and trust in our mules capability when the trail gets technical as we climb through a rough gulch to get to the petrified stumps.
