(Steve Dunford) Cross-platform programming can be hard, but almost every computer platform we come in contact with today has a web browser (look up the Microsoft iLoo) - so a web app is often one reliable way to solve this problem. Frameworks are a dime a dozen ( • We're Gonna Build a Framework ), and often Python programmers will immediately think of Django, even if they've never used it. Django is the proverbial sledgehammer to crack a walnut... it can do it, but it's probably overkill. Flask, on the other hand, is more of a small, clever pocketknife that you can easily add a walnut cracking tool to if you need it. They both do the same thing - they just do it from different directions. In this tutorial we'll take a ground-up approach, only adding in things we need, as we need them. Requirements: Laptop, internet access, a repl.it account and SQLiteSudio (https://sqlitestudio.pl/) or your preferred SQLite editor. https://pretalx.com/kiwipycon-2021/ta... kiwipycon kiwipyconxi kiwipycon22 kiwipycon2022 pycon python Kiwi PyCon is an annual conference aimed at promoting and educating people about the Python programming language.
