Pretty good run. This is a new PB since i was able to hit the tree jump in 1 try. literally the only reason. Some 'new' strats were used in this run, some of which are also really usefull for Veteran runs. Timestamp and explenations below :) 0:44 - I jump over the wall to prevent triggering enemies that spawn in the area with all the cars. Before the cars show up, there's a chance of 1-4 enemies spawning when you walk through the first set of walls that i skip on the timestamp. Also, because we don't walk through the second set of walls (towards the area where the cars spawn), none of the enemies + the cars triggered. Can be a really usefull strat for Vereran runs! For greenhorn any% you don't need to jump over the first wall, but it makes the pillar jumps a little easier since there are no enemies. 1:21 - When you pause the video at my setup fot the tree jump, you can see a black spot in the grass in front of me and near the top left of the screen. These insanely convienient spots, are perfect markers for the line you need to do the jump. Strafjumping on/slightly to the right of 'em is the line you want to follow when going for the tree. You need 2 great strafes in order to hit it. The strafes are more consistent (for me) when capping to 250 fps, but you gain more velocity on good strafes if capped on 333 fps. 1:48 - I prepare a nade and throw it to the left wall at an angle as soon as it's possible to instantly kill the enemies that spawn in the small room to the right. I found this strat to be most consistent with making sure moody is asap to the door to plant the explosive. 2:16 - The nade will affect the enemies behind the door before it's exploded which can delay the guy at the mg. If timed correctly it should be possible to also instantly kill both of them once. I'm still messing about with this. 2:44 - Since we skipped the entire inside of the building, there will be only 4 enemies here. The moment you walk through the doorway towards the hall with the paintings, all the other enemies spawn. Note that Price only stopts for the initial 4 enemies that spawn, once these are killed, he will just try and run through all the enemies that are inside the main hall of the manor. This is why i try to kill all these sets of 4 enemies that spawn as soon as possible and only later return to kill off the rest, since Price will power through anyway. 2:52 - I only briefly go into the room with your allies because this will already trigger the dialogue. You don't have to stay here. Once the dialogue is triggerd, you can go wherever you want. Time starts at 2.315 and ends at 222.329 at 48 fps to get a final time of 0h 3m 40s 014ms.
