©2021 by Roberto Bertero Hi! Welcome to my 18th video posted on YouTube :-) When I'm up into the mountains I'm not only fascinated by what my eyes can admire but also by the sounds my ears can listen... As a musician, I really like then looking for the right music to match the places I document. The idea is to recreate the state of grace that I’ve experienced, there, on the spot. In this video I thought I'd let the waterfalls and immense waterways speak for themselves, as they are practically a constant in the Rutor area, a splendid and well-known Valle d'Aosta alpine zone in the upper La Thuile valley. The nature in this video makes her voice heard, no music, no comment, no distraction... exactly the same sounds a visitor can experience! My name is Roberto Bertero, I am a photographer-musician from Turin. I have been exploring the Alps for as long as I can remember and since 14 years I am devoted to photograph the most significant moments, up there, in the high mountains! I’ve opened this YouTube channel, in order to document some of my adventures also through the video; a new experience for me, which I find very fascinating. It goes without saying that the photographs I include in my videos are all available for sale on my website. I usually hike alone, or sometimes in the company of my girlfriend. I believe that only in this way is it possible to hear the subtle intimate essence of certain places. All places naturally speak to us, it is up to us to refine our ability to listen. My aim is to share my alpine experiences lived at all hours and in all seasons. So, through my works - which I hope will be more and more refined in capturing mountain's soul - you will see the Alps in all possible light conditions: twilight, dawn, daylight, sunset, blue hour, night… in the moonlight or beneath the magical mantle of the Milky Way. Join me in this adventure! :-) - - New videos are in preparation, so SUBSCRIBE to the channel if you haven't already :-) Subscribe: / @alpspicturestales - - Website: http://www.robertobertero.com Instagram: / roberto.bertero Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/1398092... - - MY GEAR: Canon EOS 5D Mark II Canon EOS 5D Mark IV Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM Sigma 24mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Canon remote controller RC-6 GoPro Hero 8 Black Tripod - Benro C-057 n6 Backpack - Osprey Exos 58 Backpack - Salewa Peuterey 40 Tent - Ferrino Pumori 2 (looking to replace it with something lighter!)
