Some time back in the mid 80's when we were living in Newbridge, my dear uncle Liam had stopped over for a visit. I, having picked up the whistle for oooh about an hour (before putting it back down for years), dragged Liam from the kitchen to the sitting room where quietness was a joy. I asked him if he'd play me a few tunes while I record him on this little handheld Panasonic voice recorder. Even though he did not like the idea of me recording him, fair play to him he played a few tunes anyway, one being this lovely little waltz, composed by Shaun Davey.
