Compared to conventional hydraulic drives, they require less material and oil, and maintenance is reduced by eliminating aging hydraulic hoses. The design is energy-efficient, with low internal losses and the ability to recover power when the bridge lowers. This simplicity ensures high reliability and continuous availability, even allowing operation on a single actuator if needed.
