Rose Cottage, a dog-friendly holiday cottage with a hot tub near Malton in rural North Yorkshire.

Rose Cottage sleeps up to 4 guests, and up to 2 dogs are welcome. We have a private jacuzzi-style hot tub in the secure garden. There are 2 bedrooms - one double, and a single with a pull-out bed. The cottage looks out onto beautiful North Yorkshire farmland. It sits at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds, close the Yorkshire Wolds Way National Trail. This area is popular with walkers and is very dog-friendly. Thorpe Bassett is a peaceful little village, but within a ten-minute walk, there are 2 dog-friendly pubs that serve good food. There's also a village store and post office, fish and chip shop, and a traditional butcher too, plus bus services running from Scarborough through to York. Just 5 miles away is the traditional Market town of Malton, also known as Yorkshire's Food Capital. It is filled with lots of independent shops, cafes and restaurants - many of which also will welcome dogs. Rose Cottage is the perfect base for touring the area. Scarborough and the East Coast beaches is under 20 miles away, and the historic city of York is 23 miles. We also have the North Yorkshire Moors, Castle Howard, Woldies Lavender Farm, Scampston Hall and lots of other visitor attractions close by.
