In this video, I review the Meeden Heavy Duty Studio Porcelain Watercolor Palette. I provide an overview of the features of the palette and compare it to the more expensive Stephen Quiller porcelain palette that I use in my studio. #porcelianpalette #watercolor #meeden The advantages of porcelain palettes are 1) a smooth mixing surface 2) bright white surface 3) non-staining surface 4) deep wells, 5) smooth edges 6) resistance to paint beading/contracting and 7) heavy duty materials. This affordable Meeden palette is similar to the more expensive Quiller palette in some features. Overall the Quiller palette is larger. It has a bigger mixing area and larger wells. The Quiller palette has 32 wells. The Meeden palette has 17 wells.
