Everything was going in order on that Friday, March 13th before the release party of Metempsychosis at Fri-Son (Switzerland) until 4pm that afternoon. The Swiss government had just held a press conference stating that the whole country was going into a lockdown due to the ongoing global pandemic of COVID-19. We rescheduled the release party on Oct. 2nd this same year, being convinced that by then this disease would be a long-gone memory. Thanks to the efforts of Swiss people over the next months, the first wave of the disease had been cut short and we thought we were seeing the end of the tunnel. Live shows started again (with masks limited spaces) and the closer we were getting to the show, the more worried we got as the cases were starting to rise again. We had the immense luck to still be able to hold the event that evening (6 months after the album was supposed to be released) and the following Monday, all venues would cancel all other shows. Amidst this little bubble of luck, we were able to perform our release party in front of a sold-out Fri-Son and the best of all is no newer COVID cases were to be reported after the show amongst the audience. Since it was such a special event, we hired a few friends to come over and film the whole show so we could stream it live for everyone to see but also have the opportunity to relive this moment. This is the first of two songs taken from the release party of Metempsychosis that we will be posting on our channel.
