He killed at least eight people between 1955 and 1976 and dismembered a four-year-old girl. Attorney and criminal defense attorney André Miegel from Duisburg talks with Hamzi about how this case has affected the city of Duisburg and the entire Ruhr area and what it feels like to defend a murderer in court. In a conversation with legal psychologist Natalie Oesterlein, Hamzi tries to gain insight into the cannibal's mind. The trial before the Duisburg Regional Court was a major media event.
