These are first pictures of the recently revived Daying Ering Wildlife Sanctuary, Pasighat, East Siang District. As can be seen in the video, wildlife is again thriving in the Sanctuary. All this has been possible due to the efforts of the Forest Department (Wildlife division) led by Divisional Forest Officer, Mr. Tasi Mize. And it needs mention here that these recent successes shouldn't make all of us complacent, as there are miles and miles to travel for the Sanctuary, before it regains its bygone glory days, when even Rhinos were believed to have inhabitated the forest. The revival of the Sanctuary would be one test, the present generation will be judged, by the coming Future Generations. Atleast, this is one, I hope, we can do for them - preserving the exquisite natural resource that almighty Donyi Polo has bestowed upon us, right at our lap, only few kilometers away from the town, Pasighat.
