In this week's video tutorial, I show how I found interesting macro photos at the beach, how I used my 35mm macro lens to capture images and how I used focus stacking and LED lighting to get sharp, good-looking photos. I also show how I edit and focus stack my images using Lightroom, Photoshop and Helicon Focus. I'm glad I persevered on such a grey day to find the images I did. And while they're not exactly amazing macro photos, I'm happy I came away with a few shots when I so nearly gave up and went home to sulk with a cup of tea. Making that extra effort didn't result in wonderful photos, but it did result in me feeling better about my day and more hopeful about taking better images next time. Like this video?
