Here is our wonderful winning entry from Group 2: 9-11 year olds. Well done to Sebastian for this fantastic story read out by children's author, Lucy Noguera! This was our 6th Creative Writing Competition for years 3-8 children. There were 3 categories: Group 1: Years 3-4 children (7-9 year olds) Group 2: Years 5-6 children (9-11 year olds) Group 3: Years 7-8 children (11-13 year olds) This year, children were given the task to write a short story based on one of the three titles: The Mystery of the Missing Muffins The Case of the Curious Cat The Puzzle of the Peculiar Plant Author, Lucy Noguera, judged the final round of the competition and this story particularly stood out for her. We are delighted that she could read out the story.
