Parawing/downwind in Dahab, Egypt, Red Sea 2026

#parawing #downwind #wingfoil Just wanted to share my impressions from the recent trip to Dahab lagoon. Video might be a bit to long, but that's because I wanted to transfer the continuous parts of downwind foiling :) The lagoon is a great place to learn wingfoiling (windsurfing also) and to progress with strong, consistent north wind and perfect flat water. Plenty of schools and rentals and great hotels directly at the spot. There is a smaller shallow lagoon ideal for practicing kiteboarding too. For downwind foiling you have to go out of the lagoon and make some upwind legs or there is a possibility to start further upwind from Dahab city - this would make about 4km downwind run. Sure it's possible to make longer downwinders, but this involves a lot more logistics.
