Train Notches Up To Hit Hill With 6,700 HP! GE & EMD Locomotives Working Together & Aurora Floods

Both Of The Railroads Most Powerful Locomotives Working Together To Lift A Rock Train Over A Steep & Curvy Hill. Short Line Railroad Train Chase & Aurora, Indiana Major Flooding Preview. The Cincinnati Eastern Railroad In Mt Orab & Williamsburg, Ohio On The Norfolk Southern Peavine Line. The Flooding Shots Were Taken At The Height Of A Historic Flood. I was in the drive through line at Arby's with Chessie. I had just made my order when I heard the CCET crews talking on the radio. I heard them say the gates were down and lights flashing. The conductor in a van was doing a run by inspection and checking the crossing signals. So I headed to Eastwood Road figuring the train had to be westbound since the day before they went east. The train crossed Eastwood with both of the strongest locomotives on the railroad and 20 loads of rock. The SD40-2 is 3,000 HP and the B36-7 is about 3,700 HP according to Wiki. After the train passes we see MOW equipment on the siding and then head to Williamsburg to catch the train on the hill. The second shot is of the train going through town at the numerous crossings and going up the steep, curvy grade. Listen to the awesome locomotives as they pass. You can hear the rail singing after the train passes and we see the top of the rail. After that I put a few short clips on of the flooding in Aurora, Indiana and Cincinnati, Ohio area. This is a historic flood. The Ohio River crested 60 feet. The last major flood was a few years back and I have videos of that one also. This is just a short video but I will have a long video soon of the flooding. I also filmed a train running along the river on the Central Railroad Of Indiana CIND.
