However, researchers note this overshadows the fact that women, men, and children are sexually exploited every day in communities large and small. Mayo Clinic is joining with The Link, a Minneapolis-based nonprofit that works with youth and families to overcome the effects of poverty and social injustice, to support the riseupgifts.org initiative, a campaign to raise awareness of human trafficking and inspire people to make a difference.
