No Vain Imagination of the Mind Many years ago, I saw your beauty Among the tender meadows and The noble daylight, and I fell in love. What wounded my heart so much? The more I reached out to you, The more I sacrificed my hope. If you gave me wonder and dreams, Why did I become so lonely And empty? Did I seek more than a kingdom? My life now falls behind and my Senses turn blind, but your kiss Was no vain imagination of the mind. If you were here one more time, I Would embrace your glory And praise your sweet legendary smile. The journey was worthy and too Taxing, yet your song of spring And summer granted me the truth. I‟m trembling and I‟m fading, Yet your breath of autumn And winter soothes the final pain. My life now falls behind and my Senses turn blind, but your kiss Was no vain imagination of the mind. Serene are the skies, at least the World wasn‟t chaotic in this Verse of thoughts and destinies. Can you forgive me for leaving You stranded in memories? Can you wipe my tears away? If I fail to hold your hand to fly, Please let me feel your nice Caress as I march towards the shadows. My life now falls behind and my Senses turn blind, but your kiss Was no vain imagination of the mind. The strength that once grew must Now sleep, and the echoes of Paradise must haunt my desires.
