After extensive research, we found the perfect community-led, eco-friendly houseboat experience in the picturesque village of Vayala, Kerala. Watch us spend two amazing nights on this houseboat, where we were looked after by amazing local people, who showed us their villages and way of life. In short, it was exactly what we were looking for. This project, run by the local community, supports them directly and offers a serene experience on a pristine, undisturbed lake—without another houseboat in sight.
