Coach Charlie Schreiber, CSCS, a former Boulder World Cup Competitor and Coach and V13 climber, invites his client, Kelvin Chung, a solid V8/9 Boulderer, to his local gym, “Garden State Rocks,” to teach him about advanced technical components of explosive dynamic movement and subtle positioning and mindset. With over 19 years of climbing experience and 16 years of coaching experience, Charlie shares some of the most valuable lessons he has learned from his outdoor and competition career. Charlie uses a varied approach of teaching styles (scalable progression systems, demonstrations, assisted visualization, analogies, off-wall sensation capturing, conceptual education and verbal cueing) in order to help Kelvin assimilate the lessons in real-time.
