Something a bit different this time on the channel. Recently, I had the opportunity to produce a few tracks on the latest community album from Materia Collective, a tribute album for my favourite game, Final Fantasy IX. The main premise of this album was collaboration, and every single track on the album is the construct of two or more people! This composition is one of my favourites from the game, since I was very young. The arrangement is actually based on a vocal arrangement I had made when I was 14, along with the piano collections version, and the lyrics you hear were first created then, and reworked for this version. I knew that for this track, I wanted to work with both of my collaborative partners! Of course, I work with Merry here for Forest Elves on many wonderfully fun tracks, and I also work with my other music partner Alexander Nyman (Shadow Dreamer) on projects under the name of 'Phoenix Up'. Thus, the first Phoenix Up and Forest Elves crossover release is here. Not only that, but we all had the opportunity to work with some more incredibly talented musicians, making this the first collaborative project we're releasing here on this channel!
