What's it like living in Salt Lake City, Utah? Let's look at the homes, and the amenities, and the schools in the city - not the valley, but the actual municipality of Salt Lake City :) We start in the upper avenues, the neighborhoods north east of downtown Salt Lake City, and I talk about the many different kinds of housing in the city - the posh homes above the capitol, the condos and high rises downtown, the east bench neighborhoods approaching the north boundary of Millcreek, and the more affordable housing in the Glendale and Rose Park areas. Then we go to the City Creek Mall downtown and mention some of the more popular things to do and places to visit in Salt Lake City. I didn't mention any specific restaurants in the video but downtown has a ton - plenty of typical chains and franchises as well as a plethora of entrepreneurial restaurants to make your mouth happy! The schools in Salt Lake are varied in quality. Since the Salt Lake school district includes an inner city, you get some of the issues that come with inner city schools - it's still Utah; it's not like we have a lot of gang issues. One of the advantages of the inner city though, is increased diversity, and I highlight one private school in particular that is ranked 2nd best in the state that's just a little east of downtown.
