SHE COULDN'T DO IT ALONE... A Really Intense Highland Cow Birth!

3 BIRTHS, 1 DAY. This was easily the most intense 24 hours we’ve ever had on the farm. From the miracle of a rare, all-white foal born with a perfect grey cross on its back, to a life-or-death situation with Sorcha, our Highland Cow—we were pushed to the limit. If you’ve ever wondered what farm life is actually like when things don't go to plan, this is it. In this vlog: • The Rare Foal: Meet our newest addition, a stunning white foal with a unique light grey cross. She is easily one of the most beautiful babies we've ever seen. • Valais Blacknose Lambing: The "world's cutest sheep" keep us on our toes. I had to step in to help lamb the second twin when things slowed down. • Sorcha’s Highland Calf: This was the big one. Sorcha was struggling, the tension was high, and I had to make the call to intervene. Seeing that Highland calf finally on its feet made every stressful second worth it. Farm life is full of highs and lows, but bringing these new lives into the world is a privilege I never take for granted. Thank you for being part of the journey!
