External Vertical Garden at School

Let us present an external vertical garden created as part of the ‪@SUAVE_UrbanAgriculture‬ project funded by the European Union. Suave EuroClusters is an organisation dedicated to promoting greenery within urban areas. In the video, we show you how our wall was constructed form the very beginning. Installed next to a local school, our PlantaUp panels were used to give the plants the best chance of surviving harsh Polish climate. The panel is made of felt and allows live plants (not plastic) to be planted in it. The special material provides the plants with conditions similar to those they have in nature. It allows water to pass through and does not restrict root growth. Thanks to this, the plants maintain their looks for many years without the needing to be changed. Teenagers from the local school helped us plant the wall. Each student had the opportunity to independently prepare the plants and plant them on the green wall as well as learn about how green infrastructure can benefit the city.
