Well this happened. (Audio is quiet) This category is truly a toxic blend of glitches, RNG and no glitch (mostly RNG), and also tests your ability to drive at 3 different speeds at a consistently high level, react to cpu bs, keep and menu efficiently. I did have a few huge mistakes in the actual races. Falling off on KC 100cc, Hitting a few cars/trucks on MH, failing BC3 SC once on 150cc, but by far the biggest mistake was WGM 100cc where I got an NLC attempting the glitch (lost close to 50 seconds there). However it also had some great highlights and a couple funny things worth noting too: My batteries ran low at some point so for every gp, I lost half a second. I'd estimate around 10-15 seconds were lost due to low batteries. Very efficient menuing throughout with only a few missteps within the first 90 mins or so. Generally smooth driving throughout besides the errors mentioned above. Time Trial highlights: 1:51.1 TF with 2 missed last lows and going round stompers L3. 2:05.1 Delfino with 2/5 chains and Liam bounce Lap 3. 30.297 L3 GCN MC 2:31.705 BC64 To drive these times after over 6 hours is incredible for me. As far as RNG, It started out pretty bad with the 2 flower cups and beginning of 50cc, but it did improve and I think overall I got average if not slightly above. But I still had some Really bad RNG in a few races (Mirror rWS, DKJP and BC64). Lastly, the comparison vs Maniac's PB is pretty hilarious, losing time on every single MG, CM, and WGM and at one point being over 3 minutes behind. Then me slowly closing the gap over time with NG driving and better rng in places. Funniest part is it took 4 hours 26 minutes before I pulled ahead for the first time. Overall, still super happy to have pulled this off. It beats the previous WR (6:58:46) by 2 minutes 24 seconds. This run is extremely beatable though, with adding glitches and better RNG from CPUs, this can go down several minutes. However, I almost certainly will never touch this again, partly because of the increased reliance on glitches, but almost entirely because I will NEVER play a 7-8 hour session again. Plus with my new job (started few weeks ago) picking up steam, 7-8 hour sessions may be completely impossible pretty soon. Thanks to Maniac for providing his splits file for his current PB and the Live Split layout, as well as being the main inspiration for me to give this category a shot. @idk_maniac
