He’s ridiculously fast & consistently makes defenders look slow. He’s undersized, but he looks like he could be the next Tyreek Hill, Tavon Austin, DeAnthony Thomas, etc. He can pretty much outrun any defender, but if there is a defender in front of him, he can make them miss with nasty jukes because he’s so shifty. Like Tarik Cohen & Dante Hall, people call him the “Human Joystick.” He’s also very similar to former Penn State great Saquon Barkley in terms of being a human highlight reel with the ball in his hands. Alabama WR Henry Ruggs III ran the fastest 40 at the NFL Combine, but many expected Hamler to run the fastest time before he opted to not run. Even without a time on record, Hamler’s speed is still showcased on film.
