Thousands join procession honoring officers killed in Tremonton shooting

The bodies of two fallen officers were returned home to Garland and Logan, with thousands of officers and community members joining in the 3-hour-long procession. The procession began in Taylorsville at the Medical Examiner's Office, where dozens of motorcycles led the way north, followed by the two hearses and a long line of patrol and emergency vehicles. The tribute was in honor of Sgt. Lee Sorensen and Officer Eric Estrada who were killed while responding to a domestic disturbance call in Tremonton Sunday night, Aug. 17.
