BASIC 3 MINUTE BOARD DESIGN

For anyone who would like to try designing a wingfoil or surf board in Blender, here's a basic 3 minute design that you can follow. After I design the board, I chop it into several sections in Blender. I do this because my CNC machine is only 36"x36" and has a 4" cutting depth in the Z axis. Once the board is in sections, I use the Fabex addon in Blender to produce the CNC files of each section. When I have all the CNC files, I start carving the sections on my CNC machine, moving the material as each section is carved. This is called tiling. If there's interest, I'll create a video on how to tweak the design, use Fabex to produce the CNC files and how I cut an 8 foot board on a 3 foot CNC machine.
